We've been working hard on the garden this year. So far, we've had good experiences working the soil, planting the plants, watering despite Pfluger (our dog who LOVES to chew the hoses) and weeding (thanks to Clinton--you can see him in the background of the grape picture weeding the garden).Currently, however, we are fighting ants on our grapes and pill bugs or something on our squash. So, as we are coming into the heat, we get to start fighting bugs!!! Wahoo! Despite all this, we are hopeful, and enjoy looking out at our yard and know we're doing our part. Enjoy the pictures!
It seems like everyone has a garden this year. I'm looking forward to seeing how things go! We tried square foot gardening this year and went a little bit overboard...hopefully we get some good veggies out of it! :)
