The big 13!

So we went to a new OBGYN for a first 8 week appointment. Dr. Christopher Seeker came highly recommended. Although we had to wait for too long for the appointment, we were pleased with the personal attention he gave us and the time he spent to make sure all of our questions were answered satisfactorily. Before he walked in the door, he had learned to say my name and my medical history. We were impressed and pleased.
After all the routine tests, we even got to see the baby through a sonogram. Upon starting, he immediately said, "Wow, you're a lot further along than you thought."

We were expecting baby #2 to make his/her appearance around December 5, 2009, but it turns out we'll be watching for him/her around October 27, 2009! So, we were really 13 weeks along!

What blessings...another baby in our family, a brother/sister for Daniel close in age and 5 weeks off the pregnancy! WAHOO!

More about the name

I agree that it was pretty late at night, and we just wanted to come up with some name, but I think the basic concept in the name was that what we will probably talk about most on the blog is the stuff that is less important, kind of like the unstressed syllables in a sentence. The stuff you can often ignore and still understand the main idea by just paying attention to the main words. So I'm pretty sure I meant it as a commentary on the stuff that I usually blog about (and then get comments about how I go on and on about meaningless stuff). But I usually have a really fun time writing about that stuff, anyway, so I'm still going to write what I want.

UNSTRESSED!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Maybe we picked this because we are striving for a more peaceful lifestyle, or maybe because we it was really late at night and this was actually available. Either way, we are official bloggers with our new Clinton Jones Family blog.
I'm excited because I can post pictures without doing weird steps, and thus can respond more easily to all of your requests for updates. So welcome to our wacky world of syllables!
